The 2016 Nissan Versa from El Paso Dealers: Improving the Old, Bringing in the New

The Nissan Versa has been a steadfast vehicle model that fans know to be capable and reliable. For its 2016 iteration, the manufacturers have made sure to keep intact the features that make it the great family sedan that it is, while at the same time making the effort to implement further improvements.

What’s New in 2016

For the 2016 Nissan Versa, you can expect nifty new additions such ash body-color power mirrors and a four-speaker sound system. You can expect to have these bundled in as a standard offering for any Versa trim level. Higher levels, of course, would yield bigger surprises, such as the leather-wrapped steering wheel for the SL trim level, for example.

Engine Power

This sub-compact sedan runs on a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which gives you 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque. The S trim level comes with a standard 5-speed manual transmission, but there is also a four-speed automatic option as an alternative. The rest of the Versa models, meanwhile, come with a CVT.

Fuel economy is at an excellent 31 mpg for the city, 40 for highway, and 35 mpg for combined. If you go for the automatic transmission model, you’ll get 27 for highway, 36 for highway, and 30 for combined.

Meeting Safety

It’s easy to feel and drive safe with the 2016 Nissan Versa. It does, after all, come equipped with antilock brakes, an airbag set (front-seat side and full-length side), rear view camera, traction and stability control, and more.

If you need any more reassurance, the “Good” rating awarded by the IIHS should be enough to tell you that this car is indeed made with top quality. If you need any more convincing, though, the best thing to do is to drop by an El Paso Nissan dealership and see the 2016 Nissan Versa for yourself.
